Electrochemical Cells
Full PTFE plate sheet operation electrolytic cell
1. The electrolytic cell is made of polytetrafluoroethylene
2. The electrolytic cell is divided into upper and lower layers, the upper layer is the cell body, and the lower layer is the fixed backing plate.
3. The electrolytic cell compresses the working electrode sample by tightening the surrounding screws
4. The operation of the electrolytic cell. The working electrode sheet is a sheet-shaped working electrode, and the sample installation is simple and convenient, easy to disassemble, and easy to handle.
5. The electrolytic cell can be used for the electrochemical experiment before the sample is scanned by the electron microscope, or for the corrosion test of the coating during the corrosion test
6. The bottom of the electrolytic cell has a round hole with a fixed area of 1 square centimeter (the required size can be customized according to requirements), and an O ring that can be sealed
7. After placing the sample in the round hole, adjust and tighten the screw on the top of the cell body to compress the working sample to achieve a sealing effect
8. The conductive link of the working electrode of the electrolytic cell adopts the principle of sticking copper tape with the working sample to conduct the sample conduction. The copper tape is convenient to use and easy to replace after corrosion, which can better ensure the conductivity.
9. Copper tape: need to be purchased separately
10. Participating electrode: silver silver chloride, saturated calomel (need to be purchased separately)
11. Contrast electrode: platinum column, platinum sheet (need to be purchased separately)
12. Working electrode: sample to be tested (self-prepared)
13. The electrolytic cell and the electrode holder have a better effect when used together
